c. 1900 Antique Four Drawer Burl Walnut Victorian Marble Top Dresser w/Tilting Beveled Mirror.

Beautiful Burl Walnut Veneer w/ Subtle floral & geometric carvings to blend in or accent any décor.

Any & ALL flaws are clearly shown here & on ebay.
Solid, very good condition . Wood has normal usage wear, w/ minor scratches & some finish loss predominately on mirror framing & supports. Middle drawer has piece missing along entire bottom. This can be easily matched & repaired by an average-skilled person. Veneers are beautifully patterned w/ strong highlights & show no cracking, buckling or any discernible demarcation or separation. The carvings are subtle & nicely done. Drawers are dovetailed & there are 4 castors. Hardware is very bright & there is a key for the locks , but bottom drawer is missing inside mechanism. Mirror is very thick as seen by card-test, has good reflectivity throughout w/ some frosting & silver loss as shown. The marble is solid w/ no cracks or chips & has beautiful contoured edges. Only upon close examination w/ macro lens can you see some minor surface pitting; the coloring, patterning & smoothness are exceptional.
Although I would like to see this lovely antique used for its intended purpose, the the mirror can be hung separtely, the marble can be used on another piece or as a batroom or kitchen counter-top & the burl walnut integrated into a new piece.
Dimensions:
Furniture sections, drawers & mirror supports are light. Marble is apprx. 70lbs. & mirror weighs about 35lbs.
